When you mention a particular product and speak about the top of the line, one specific brand within that product line usually comes to mind. For example, if you talk about top of the line in the car industry, one may think or mention the brand of Cadillac, Lexus, Porsche, Mercedes Benz, etc.
In addition, if you were to talk about music you might think of a Steinway, Baldwin, Stradivarius, etc. Specifically, if you were to talk about the top of the line in the guitar world, one of the names that probably would be mentioned would be Gibson Guitars.
The History Of Gibson Guitars
The founder of the Gibson Guitar company was Orville Gibson. However, the first manufactured stringed instruments by Orville Gibson weren’t guitars but mandolins. Eventually, though, the production of mandolins gave way to the production of guitars and the Gibson Mandolin Guitar Manufacturing Company was born in 1902. Soon, the production of guitars became the mainstay and Gibson introduced numerous innovative guitar designs.
Eventually, the electric guitar came on the scene. In fact, the Gibson Guitar Company released the first Electric Spanish model. The claim to fame of this model is that it is being credited as the first electric guitar successfully built for commercial use.
Another successful line of Gibson Guitars was the Gibson Les Paul. This particular model of Gibson Guitar was released in 1954. Other guitarists who have helped to popularize the Gibson Guitar have been Eric Clapton, Keith Richards and Pete Green.
The Categorizing Of Gibson Guitars
In 1970, Gibson Guitars decided upon a tactic to help protect their name and the guitars that were manufactured. That solution was to stamp an eight digit serial number on their product.
Specifically, the eight digit number is stamped on the underside of the headstock of the guitar. In addition, the serial number is significant. That significance is that the number corresponds to the date that the instrument was manufactured, the location indicating where the guitar was made and the run number. Specifically, the first and fifth number represent the year, the second, third and fourth number represent the day of the year of manufacturing and the sixth number represents the locale of manufacturing. Now that I use all Natural Soap I find myself researching the origin or history for the different essential oils used in soap making.
I learned about one of my favorite scents; lavender. The Lavender Comfrey Soap that I use is made from Bulgarian lavender which is known world wide for its healing benefits as well as its clean, sweet floral fragrance.
Lavender essential oil is known to be a analgesic, antidepressant, antiseptic, and antiviral as well as a bactericide, decongestant, deodorant, and fungicide. Lavender has been used for centuries for healing the likes of acne, athlete foot, indigestion, migraine relief, healing burns and insect bites. stiff joints and sore muscles, sunburns and more. It has also been used as a disinfectant and insect repellent.
A great treat for me is to soak in a bath with all natural Lavender scented Bath Salts
The Goat Milk Soaps that I use is handmade with 50% olive oil and fresh pasteurized goats milk. The best thing about this soap is that it is naturally moisturizing and gentle to your skin.
It has been said that Cleopatra use to bathe in milk. I am sure that there are many woman who followed Cleopatra using milk in her bath as well as some men although they might not admit to take milk baths.
Milk contains a natural presence of lactic acid as well as alphy hydroxy that are known for softening and removing dead skin cells.

Seeking Weight Loss Tips And Advice

My friend said, why dont’ you try one of those fad diets? So I wonder, are fad diets a bad idea? It seems almost as if there is a new fad diet every week. Many of these contain elements of truth, but on the whole they contain much more good marketing than good science.
There is the 3-day diet, which touts eating little more than fruits for three days, followed by vegetables or meat or grains the other days. There are lots of variations. I just don’t know.
I have read that “the South Beach Diet is a phased approach to weight loss and nutrition. In the three major phases dieters will eat selected foods and avoid others, in order to balance the glycemic index to lose weight and achieve optimal metabolism.” What the heck is the “glycemic index”?
With all the diet informatiom available, it looks like it’s going to take me a lot longer than expected to figure out the best plan for me. Oh well, I suppose I will doing a little more reseach on the subject.

I’ve been working hard here lately and now it’s time for some BBQ and Bluegrass Music! Some of my favorite bands are Rhonda Vincent and The Rage, Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver, Dale McCoury Band, Dan Tyminski and any band that has a great mandolin picker.
We have a local BBQ place that knows how to do BBQ Right! Sometimes we go over there on Friday orSaturday night, eat some good BBQ and listen to great bluegrassmusic. The other night the band played some Ralph Stanely, Bill Monroe and Flatt and Scruggs tunes. I asked my wife to please get me a copy of the Flatt and Scruggs old TV shows for my birthday. I think she will!
Speaking of BBQ, do you know how Natural Gas vs Propane vs Charcoal stacks up? I am thinking about getting a Grill and was wondering which one is best. Nothing like some good ribs basted in barbeque sauce fixed on an open grill on Saturday night! Almost forgot the beverage, NOT! A cool, refreshing cold drink of choice puts the final touch on the meal.
Oh, on a totally different subject, I am in the process of re-doing my home office and ran across a site that has a ton of good information on such topics as Outfitting a Home Office, Choosing An Office Copier and lots more. They also have a ton of office equipment and supplies to help with the make over. So this should make my new project go a lot faster which means I can get back to the BBQ and Bluegrass Music!
